FANUC Robotics' M-3iA Intelligent Picking Robot

 
 

This industrial robot case study features a demonstration of the FANUC M-3iA robot as it picks randomly placed bottles from an in-feed conveyor, and places them up right onto an out-feed conveyor using visual line tracking.

The Robot uses FANUC iRVision 2D and PICKTool to locate, pick and place each bottle. The FANUC M-3iA Robot has a unique parallel link design combined with a high speed 3-axis wrist to perform this operation with speed and precision.
