FANUC Robotics America Inc. demonstrated high-speed handling of solar panels, small part assembly and high-speed food picking during the recent 2010 ATX Show held in Anaheim, CA, Feb. 9-11.

At the show, FANUC Robotics highlighted its intelligent robotic solutions designed for the solar, food, and consumer goods industries.  Demonstrations included:

  • An M-1iA high-speed, parallel-link robot equipped with iRVision Visual Tracking and an LR Mate 200iC robot assembling and disassembling solar panels. 
  • Two LR Mate 200iC/5H robots equipped with 2D iRVision and a rotary flex feeder picked multiple sections of a pen from the feeder and assembled them together.  
  • An LR Mate 200iC/5F food robot, and the M-430iA USDA-accepted intelligent picking robot equipped with iRVision® (built-in), PickTool software, and the ROBOGUIDE/ PickPRO simulation package.  The demonstration showcased the robots’ ability to pick products at very high speeds.
