IACETHandlingTool Features and Options


This course is designed for advanced students who have taken HandlingTool Operations and Programming, or who have demonstrated similar skill level.

Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Create multi-tasking TP programs
  • Write condition handler TP programs for unexpected interrupts – global and local
  • Setup Payload Schedules and code their use
  • Setup Collision Guard sensitivities and code their use
  • Perform Background Editing of a TP program
  • Address Coordinate Offsets within a TP program
  • Setup and use the TP Menus and Prompts Feature
  • Setup the PassWord Feature
  • Perform Controller Backup and Restore

Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.

The course consists of lectures, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned.

In addition to lab exercises, a pretest and posttest are used to measure mastery of objectives.

Audience: This course is intended for the person who is required to program or optimize paths using a HandlingTool-equipped FANUC robot.

Prerequisites: Completion of an "Operation & Programming" class.
